We Call Them Engineers by sivousplay We Call Them Engineers by sivousplay
Here's my take on a stunning 1/5-1/6 scale kit from Apkitt based on the film Prometheus. I decided to go w/ a different color scheme for the engineer trying to evoke a little more Giger in the colors than those chosen for the film. As always, hand painted with mostly Vallejo acrylics. If you'd like to see more pictures, please visit my site: sivousplay.net/html/engineers.… or check out this collage on dA: fav.me/d6lbzlh

Cheers,
jim

Excellent piece! The pose kinda reminds me of Gozer and the Terror Dogs from Ghostbusters: media.screened.com/uploads/1/1…

Wow, what a surreal colour palette! It suits the model so well. The suggestion of demi-translucence in the alien domes is really striking, especially in the second alien with the transition from pink to grunge. This is a real pleasure to look at, I would be thrilled to have a piece like this on my shelf.
