Luckily for us - You are a geek :) The one with the fire in her hand is gorgerous. It looks like the fire is really iluminating his face.

thank you ... that was the first time I tried such a bold "object source lighting" on one of my miniatures ... the key was to make sure that the figure was very dark where the light was not shining so that the areas lit by the fire really appear to be illuminated.

Thank You for the advice. I always liked minis where the glowing effects were present. They look very realistic and professional, like Yours :)

Nice work. The source lighting figure is well handled.

thanks a bunch. It was only the 2nd time I've tried to be that deliberate w/ source lighting and I was pretty surprised how well it turned out and how well it photographed.

That is a Confrontation miniature ... was in a pack of Earth Familiars. The minis are out of print at this point, but you may be able to find them on ebay if you look for a bit.

You are amazing! I just can't believe the detail, and you are also really great at color choices. The adition of the red and yellow bushes on the mini on the left is a great idea, and definitely good colors. The work on the right..... Is it painted on purpose to look like the fire is illuminating the whole thing?? Or is that actual lighting in the photo? Either way it's brilliant :D!

I.......... think you are the best I've seen. It's not just your ability, but your choices that make your work unique.

thank you very much for the kind words. The fire light on the figure on the right is painted to look like object source lighting. I was very pleased w/ how it turned out.
